Project: Assessment of physical climate risks of the investment portfolio of a private investment company in Central Asia
Purpose: conduct a physical climate risk screening and assessment of a portfolio of assets in Central Asia for a private equity firm investing in these assets. An assessment of physical climate risks was necessary as part of the overall climate strategy of an investment company as part of building a climate risk management system.

- Task 2: High-level asset-level risk assessment and financial analysis
- Task 3: Detailed risk assessment and development of adaptation recommendations
Result:
The client received a report detailing its portfolio's exposure to physical climate risks and recommendations for response measures. In addition, a detailed physical climate risk assessment was carried out for the six assets with the highest climate risk exposure and the results were presented at a client workshop. The study enabled the client to implement TCFD recommendations and improve the climate risk management of its portfolio.
