Project: EHS Due Diligence assessment of an alumina refinery in India as part of the Client's consideration of the acquisition of the refinery
Purpose: An independent assessment of potential significant environmental, health and safety risks, liabilities and restrictions associated with the potential acquisition of the property and future operations.

The ENSOR team, with the support of local specialists in India, completed the following tasks:

- Task 1: Review of existing data and analysis of external factors. ENSOR verified information from publicly available sources as well as data/information provided by the Target in the Virtual Data Room (VDR).
- Task 2: Site visit. The site visit was carried out by ENSOR's local specialist partners. The site visit included a tour of the site and its surroundings, interviews with site management and review of additional documentation.
- Task 3: Reporting. Following the site visit, ENSOR prepared and presented to the Client a summary report of the initial findings and observations. A full report was then prepared with all EHS Due Diligence details.
Result:
Based on the results of the EHS Due Diligence, the Client received an understanding of the key environmental, health and safety risks, liabilities and restrictions associated with the potential transaction. This information helped the Client in making further decisions regarding the deal.
