Purpose: obtain a comprehensive understanding of the negative and positive environmental and social impacts, as well as the risks and opportunities associated with the Company’s activities, to form a list of material (priority) topics and further prepare a sustainability report with a focus on priority topics, as well as develop strategic activities to minimize negative and maximize positive impacts.
Approach:
As part of the project, ESNOR specialists completed the following tasks:
- Identification of environmental and social impacts based on analysis of publicly available information, internal company documents and a workshop with key specialists
- Identification of environmental and social risks and opportunities, preliminary financial assessment
- Identifying stakeholders and conducting surveys/questionnaires regarding the company's environmental and social impacts
- Determining the significance and prioritization of positive and negative environmental and social impacts, as well as risks and opportunities
- Preparation of a final list of material topics
Result:
ENSOR prepared a report assessing the environmental and social impacts, risks and opportunities for existing production, as well as a list of proposed material topics for further consideration as part of the sustainability report preparation. As part of the work carried out, the Consultant also identified significant impacts and risks that the Company had not previously paid due attention to. This allowed the Company to take corrective measures in a timely manner and avoid negative consequences for its operating activities.
