Project: Audit of the phosphorite extraction project, as well as the activities of two companies producing and marketing fertilizers (22 sites) compliance with legislative requirements in the field of environmental protection, occupational health and industrial safety
Purpose: to assess the level of compliance of recently acquired production assets located in Brazil with the local legislation requirements in the field of environmental protection, health and occupational safety; identify significant inconsistencies, evaluate the risks associated with the identified inconsistencies and propose measures to eliminate inconsistencies

- Analysis of documentation in the field of environmental protection, occupational health and industrial safety (in Portuguese and English);
- Interviews with representatives of the facilities;
- Selective site visits;
- Preparation of reports on each legal entity
Result:
- A description of applicable Brazilian EHS legal requirements;
- A description of the key EHS non-compliances identified;
- An assessment of the consequences of not eliminating the non-compliances, including an estimate of the financial cost of remediation and fines;
- A classification of risks into low, medium and high risks based on the probability and severity of consequences
